Activity for July 6, 2023
- Officer Debczak was dispatched to Franklin Street and Seventh Street for the recovery of a vehicle reported stolen with the Ann Arbor Police Department. The vehicle was impounded at the owner’s request.
- Officer Vernier investigated an incident of embezzlement that occurred in the 300 block of Detroit Street. Both suspects have been identified.
- Sergeant Burkart conducted a traffic stop near First Street and West High Street. The 39-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Sergeant Burkart and Officer Panther made contact with a subject on a mini-bike at First Street and West High Street. The 17-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number; carrying a concealed weapon; and PPO violation.
- Officers responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a domestic dispute. The 51-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and was not located.
- While searching for the domestic suspect in the 300 block of Steward Avenue, officers made contact with a male subject. The 48-year-old male was arrested for PPO violation, and an outstanding felony warrant.
