INCIDENT: PC-459C; Commercial Burglary
LOCATION: 900 Block of Front Street, Needles, CA 92363
SUSPECT(S): Marcos Lopez, 26-years-old, Resident of Las Vegas, NV.
VICTIM(S): City of Needles
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 7, 2023, at approximately 12:39 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department responded to a report of vandalism in the 900 block of Front Street.
Deputies contacted a male identified as Marcos Lopez. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned Lopez picked up a large rock and smashed the window of a local business and entered the building.
Lopez was arrested for a violation of PC-459(c) – Commercial Burglary. Lopez remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with bail set at $30,000, pending a court hearing.
