***UPDATE***RIVER ST & ANN ST RECONSTRUCTION & WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT. 07/07/23 
This is an update to the ongoing River St and Ann St Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement project. On Monday, July 10th beginning at 7:00 am and continuing the entire day, Mitchell Street will be closed at River Street. One lane traffic will be required on River Street at this location to allow a new water main to cross River Street and be connected to the main on Mitchell Street. Access to Nader Towers and the houses on Mitchell St. and Hannington Ave. will be via Burnside Avenue.
It is recommended to avoid this area if all possible. Temporary barricades and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic safely through the work zones. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and flaggers.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
