Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101), North Central Mountains (Zone 120), West Central Mountains (Zone 105) and Upper Rio Grande Valley and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone 121) from noon to 8 pm MDT today.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with occasional gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...7 to 15 percent with the higher relative humidity values above 8500 feet.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST PLATEAU ... WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS
