Full Notification

On Friday, June 7, 2023 at approximately 1730 hours, The Readington Township Police were dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Old York Rd. The driver Anthony Hendershot from Pittstown, NJ was observed standing outside his vehicle. While the officer was speaking to him, he smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. Hendershot failed the officers field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Hendershot was later released to a sober driver after being processed at the Readington Township Police Department . Hendershot was issued  a summons for DWI, Reckless Driving and Careless Driving.
