* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in southern Connecticut, Fairfield. In northeast New Jersey, Bergen and Passaic. In southeast New York, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester.

* WHEN...Until 245 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1140 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional localized rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area over the next 3 hours. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
