Flash Flood Warning until 08:30PM Sunday

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Morris County in northern New Jersey... Northwestern Somerset County in northern New Jersey... Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey... Central Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 234 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Hackettstown, Washington, Flemington, High Bridge, Clinton, Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford, Hope, Glen Gardner, Hampton, and Frenchtown. This includes the following highways... Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 12 and 28. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 12 and 13.
