Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Peekskill, West Point, Cold Spring, Stony Point, Putnam Valley, Woodbury, West Haverstraw, Thiells, Highland Falls, Cornwall On Hudson, Buchanan and Fort Montgomery. Although there has been a lull in the heavy rain, additional moderate to heavy rain will impact the area this evening. Additional rain may exacerbate ongoing flooding across the area.
