* At 1225 AM EDT, 911 call center has reported multiple roads closed from around Croton NNE through Yorktown and Jefferson Valley. Water rescues are also occurring with motorists trapped in flood waters. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...911 call center reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ossining, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, Carmel, Yorktown Heights, Jefferson Valley, Croton-on-Hudson and Brewster Hill.
