July 7, 2023:
- Officer Elston and Officer Vernier were dispatched to the 200 block of West Wesley Street for a personal welfare check. A 52-year-old male was transported to the hospital. Charges will be sought on the male for possessing narcotics.
- Officer Brooks responded to a domestic dispute near West Franklin Street and Fourth Street. A 38-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation and an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Justice investigated a larceny that occurred in the 400 block of South Grinnell Street. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Harwood Street for a domestic situation. A 50-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, 2nd offense.
- Officer Justice and Officer Schram conducted liquor inspections downtown.
- Officers attended the Southside Summer Festival.
- Officer Schram made contact with a subject in the 1500 block of East Michigan Avenue. A 36-year-old male was arrested for a parole violation and possession of narcotics.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Steward Avenue. A 24-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Seymour Avenue for a domestic situation. A 25-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation.
- Officers responded to Oak Street and Homewild Avenue for a car versus pole accident; both occupants fled on foot and were not located. Shortly after the accident, the vehicle owner called to report the vehicle stolen.
- Officer Goble was dispatched to the 3000 block of Fourth Street for a personal welfare check. A 62-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Vernier responded to the hospital for a domestic assault that occurred in the 700 block of Park Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the 38-year-old male suspect.
- Sergeant Burkart was dispatched to the 200 block of West Mason Street for a disorderly subject. A 48-year-old female was arrested for PPO violation.
- Officer Farnsworth responded to an overdose in the 300 block of North Horton Street. A 28-year-old male was transported to the hospital for medical clearance, and then lodged at JSO for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Farnsworth was dispatched to the 500 block of Edgewood Street for a personal welfare check. A 39-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Sergeant Burkart responded to a domestic dispute in the 1300 block of Mitchell Street. A 50-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
