Temporary change for reporting emergencies 
It has been brought to our attention that our 911 system is experiencing some technical difficulties.
As we want to make sure we are able to respond to your emergency calls as quickly as possible, please follow this new, temporary process for reporting an emergency.
First, dial 911.
If this does not go through, please dial 816-380-8940. Staff will be on hand to answer calls to either number and quickly dispatch an officer to the location.
We unfortunately do not know how long repairs to the system will take. We will provide an update as soon as the system is repaired.
