Activity for July 10, 2023
- Officer Elston responded to the 500 block of First Street for a stolen vehicle report. Hours later, the vehicle was located near West Franklin Street and South Blackstone Street and returned to the owner. A 32-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
- Sergeant Lillie conducted a traffic stop in the area of East Porter Street and Blair Park Drive. As Officer Panther arrived to assist, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later located unoccupied in the 1200 block of Ellery Avenue. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Battle Creek, and was impounded at their department’s request.
- Officers were dispatched to South Cooper Street and East Biddle Street for an accident with an occupant trapped inside the vehicle. The 65-year-old male driver was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Reynaga responded to the Detroit Detention Center for a warrant pick-up. A 49-year-old male was transported to Jackson, and lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Fourth Street for a domestic dispute. A 33-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
