1. Battery on an Officer (0952) 100 Block of West Fremont Street, Civic District

Officers attempted to detain a trespassing suspect, and he fled from them. The suspect then pushed an officer to the ground and got on top of the officer. When other officers tried to arrest him, he continued to resist. An officer deployed her K-9 partner to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Sean Hess, 33, for resisting arrest, battery on an officer, trespassing, and an outstanding warrant.
 

2. Armed Robbery (1011) 2500 Block of East Fremont Street, Park District

Two adult employees, 50 and 42, were working when three suspects arrived in a black sedan. The suspects pointed a firearm at the victims and demanded cash. The victims complied, and the suspects fled the area. SUSPECTS: Hispanic or Black female driver and two Hispanic males wearing ski masks.
 

3. Pursuit Arrest (1226) 8000 Block of Shay Circle, Valley Oak District

Officers responded to a family disturbance and tried to stop the suspect as he tried to leave. The suspect failed to stop, leading the officers to a short vehicle pursuit. The suspect stopped his car and fled on foot. He eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Eklil Samadi, 20, for evading and resisting arrest.
