PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DATE: July 11, 2023 FROM: Chief Jon Gale Serious Traffic Crash The Norton Shores Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance related to a serious traffic crash involving a motorcycle that occurred on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The crash happened on Wellesley Dr between Randall Rd and Quainton Rd at 7:45 P.M. Initial reports indicate that a witness to the crash left before officers could collect a statement. The witness was described as a tall, thin white male, approximately 40-50 years old, with blonde hair and a beard. He was seen riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle. Anyone having information about the crash or the witness is asked to call Norton Shores Police Department at 231 733-2691 or Silent Observer at 231 722-7463.
