INCIDENT: Possession of Child Pornography
LOCATION: 15400 Block of Nisqualli Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): John Ryan, 42-Year-Old White Male, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On July 11, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Deputy K. Campbell from the Victorville Police Department and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Division - Crimes Against Children Detail concluded an investigation into alleged child pornography, accessed and downloaded online. Campbell identified Victorville resident John Ryan as the suspect. Although Ryan is a teacher at Hesperia Unified High School, there was no evidence he engaged in misconduct with his students.
At the conclusion of this investigation, Deputy Campbell arrested and booked Ryan into custody at High Desert Detention Center for felony possession of child pornography. His bail amount is $30,000.
