Suspect Arrested for Robbery of Hesperia AT&T Store

LOCATION: AT&T Store, at 12799 Main Street #220 in Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): TyJaun Kent, 21-year-old Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Confidential
On Saturday, June 24, 2023, three masked males entered the AT&T Store, ordered the employees into a backroom and stole cash and mobile phones from the business.
Through investigation, Hesperia investigators identified one of the three suspects as TyJaun Kent, who is believed to be the main conspirator of the group.
On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, Kent was arrested by the Chino Police Department after committing a similar robbery at a Verizon Store in Chino.
Through further investigation, Hesperia investigators discovered that Kent was responsible for several other robberies at various phone stores located throughout Southern California.
In addition to several other charges from various law enforcement agencies, Kent was charged for PC211 - Robbery, for his involvement in the Hesperia offense. Kent remains in custody at West Valley Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of $440,000 bail.
