The Village of Burr Ridge experienced a severe storm with damaging winds. Although the storm was brief, it caused damage primarily in the vicinity of 73rd & 74th Street, located between Forest Hill and Wolf Road.
While the overall damage is minimal, we urge you to prioritize your safety and exercise caution during this time. Please refrain from approaching or touching any downed power lines you may encounter. Immediately report any such instances to the emergency services by dialing '911'.
To ensure smooth operations and minimize further disruptions, we kindly request that you avoid driving through the neighborhoods along Wolf Road, specifically north of 79th Street and south of I-55. Our dedicated Public Works personnel are actively engaged in clearing the aftermath of the storm as quickly as possible.
