1. Resisting Arrest (1800) Lower Sacramento Road and Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the area on a report of indecent exposure. The suspect ran from officers and was taken to the ground. The suspect spat on an officer, and a spit net was deployed. ARRESTED: Robin Thornton, 41, for resisting and battery of an officer.
2. Resisting Arrest (1905) 3500 Block of Horner Avenue, Park District
Officers responded to the area to conduct follow-up. The suspect refused to comply with officers' commands and attempted to flee in a vehicle. A Taser was deployed to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Johnny Granados, 59, for resisting arrest and elder abuse.
3. Robbery (1910) Salem Way and Continental Way, Valley Oak District
The male victims, 26 and 27, were approached by two suspects, and one brandished a firearm. The suspects took the victim's property and fled the area on foot. SUSPECTS: A black male adult and an unknown race male adult.
4. Robbery (1957) South Airport Way and East Lafayette Street, Park District
The victim, 36, was selling items in the area when the suspects approached and demanded his property. One suspect brandished a firearm, and the suspects fled with the victim's property. SUSPECTS: Hispanic male adult and two unknown race male adults.
5. Robbery (2150) 2200 Block of East Fremont Street, Park District
The male victim, 31, was working at an area business when the suspect's forced entry into the business. As the victim attempted to secure the door, he was forced to the ground, and the suspects fled after stealing property. No injuries were reported. SUSPECTS: Two black male adults.
6. Person Shot (2300) Martin Luther King Boulevard and Union Street, Park District
The male victim, 35, was near the listed area when he was shot. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening wound and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Three white males, 16-18 years old.
7. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2306) 800 Block of South El Dorado Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 55, was in the listed area when the suspect assaulted him several times with a pole while threatening to kill him. The suspect continued to assault the victim until a citizen intervened. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. Officers arrested the suspect, who became combative as she was being fingerprinted. ARRESTED: Chanel Ali, 27, for resisting arrest and attempted homicide.
8. Residential Robbery (0008) 6400 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 31, located the suspects armed with firearms inside his residence. The suspects told the victim to wait in the bathroom while they stole his belongings. The victim called the police once the suspects fled from his home. SUSPECTS: Black male and Hispanic male adults.
