Wilmington Police request public assistance locating two attempted murder suspects:

The Wilmington Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public to locate two suspects wanted for attempted murder and other charges in connection with a recent shooting incident.
 
On June 27 at approximately 9:02 p.m., police responded to the 1200 block of West 4th Street in reference to a shooting incident that took place. Police located a 21-year-old male gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
 
The case was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, and detectives identified 20-year-old William Ackridge and 21-year-old Qasim Pointer as suspects.
 
Both individuals are currently wanted on multiple felony charges, and initial attempts to locate them have been unsuccessful.
 
This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
 
Police consider both suspects to be armed and dangerous, and are asking anyone with information to contact police immediately.
