* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Edgecombe, Halifax, Nash and Wilson.
* WHEN...Until 930 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 742 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Nashville, Halifax, Wilson, Scotland Neck, Elm City, Dortches, Red Oak, Enfield, Princeville, Sharpsburg, Pinetops, Spring Hope, Whitakers, Macclesfield, Hobgood, Conetoe, Castalia and Speed. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
