SUSPECT(S): Edward Johnson, 42-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA.
VICTIM(S): City of Needles
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 14, 2023, at approximately 3:17 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department, contacted Edward Johnson in the 1900 block of Erin Drive, during a suspicious person investigation.
During the course of the investigation, deputies located a concealed knife in Johnson’s possession. Johnson was subsequently arrested for a violation of PC-21310 – Dirk or Dagger. Johnson remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with bail set at $30,000, pending a court hearing.
