INCIDENT: PC 666- Petty Theft with Prior / Probation Violation

SUSPECT(S): Justin Hayworth, 38-year-old Male Resident of Yucaipa
VICTIM(S): Walgreens / State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, July 13, 2023, Justin Hayworth walked into the Walgreens and grabbed three bottles of alcohol, and walked out of the store without paying for the items. Hayworth is known due to several prior thefts of alcohol at the location, and the incident was captured via video footage. Due to Hayworth's extensive theft history, this qualifies the petty theft as a felony charge of PC 666 - Petty Theft with Priors.
Hayworth is an ex-felon with numerous prior convictions, including burglary, grand theft, petty theft, and possession of stolen property, and is currently on felony probation for possession of a controlled substance. Hayworth was recently arrested for grand theft and released on July 5, 2023.
The Yucaipa Police Department has secured an arrest warrant and is looking for Hayworth. The San Bernardino County Probation Department has also issued a no-bail probation warrant. Hayworth is currently a transient in Yucaipa.
Investigators in Yucaipa are releasing Hayworth's photo and are asking the public to call police if Hayworth is seen.
