1. Robbery (1735) 7900 Block of Lower Sacramento Road, Bear Creek District

The male victim employee, 25, was working at an area business when the suspect sold the business some property and stole the property back when the victim wasn't looking. The suspect attempted to flee, and the victim tried to stop him but was assaulted. The suspect exited the store with the property and fled on foot.

SUSPECT: Black male, 19, wearing black clothing.

2. Armed Robbery (2001) 4500 Block of North Pershing Avenue, Lakeview District

The male victim, 24, was working at the listed location when the two suspects entered, one armed with a knife and one armed with a firearm. The suspect pointed the knife at the victim and demanded money. The victim complied, and the two suspects fled with the property. SUSPECTS: White male adult and a black male adult.

3. Resisting Arrest (2144) 3400 Block of South Airport Way, Park District

Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a batter. As Officers attempted to detain the suspect, he pulled away and took a fighting stance. The suspect was taken to the ground and arrested without further incident. The suspect was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Manuel Santos, 41, for battery and resisting arrest.

4. Shooting into a Dwelling (0030) 600 Block of Astor Drive, Valley Oak District

The female victim, 27, and four juveniles were inside an area residence when it was struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported, and there is no suspect information.

5. Carjacking / Pursuit Arrest (0119) 700 Block of East Jefferson Street, Seaport District

The male victim, 34, was exiting his vehicle in the listed area when the suspects assaulted him and stole his vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic enforcement stop, though the driver failed to yield and collided with a fence. Two suspects fled from the vehicle, and the third suspect was arrested without incident.

ARRESTED: Anthony Valdez, 18, for carjacking, evading, and resisting arrest.
