* At 206 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Wards Corner, or near Burgaw, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include... Burgaw, Penderlea, Long Creek, Murray Town, Malpass Corner, Ashton, Willard, Rocky Point, Wards Corner, Rooks, St. Helena, Atkinson, Watha and Pender Memorial Hospital.
* AFFECTED AREAS: PENDER, NC

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
