San Benito County, CA, July 14 — Join San Benito Integrated Waste Management (SBCIWM) for two exciting composting workshops, where you’ll learn how to turn your food scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich soil.

Composting 101 Workshop:
Date: Saturday, July 29, 2023

In this workshop, our Master Composters will guide you through the basics of Composting at home. You’ll learn how to use a compost bin, select materials to compost, maintain the bin, troubleshoot common issues, and more. Expect hands-on experience to put theory into practice.

Sheet Mulching Technique Fundamentals Workshop

Discover the fundamentals of sheet mulching. In this workshop, you will learn the step-by-step instructions for selecting materials, layering properly, and maintaining a successful sheet mulch. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a beginner, join us to learn how to implement this technique and create a thriving low-maintenance garden.
