Flood Advisory until 09:30PM Friday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east Tennessee, including the following counties, Johnson and Sullivan. Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following county and independent city, City of Bristol and Washington.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 735 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain and flooding in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This has caused urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. No additional rainfall is expected over the next two hours. Flooding may continue for a couple more hours. - Some locations experiencing flooding include... Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Walnut Hill, Harr, Hilander Park, South Holston Dam, Shady Valley and Benhams. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
