This is a Test Message from Richmond Fire & Police Departments. The Evacuation Exercise begins now.  If you are participating in this DRILL and live in the Miller Knox Regional Park and Brickyard Cove area of Richmond, also known as Zone RCH-E018, you should treat this message as an EVACUATION ORDER. 

Individuals NORTH of Richmond Yacht Club, Sanderling Island; SOUTH of Marine View Avenue; EAST of Miller Knox Regional Park, Dornan Drive; WEST of Canal Boulevard, Pinnacle Court, and Brickyard Cove Road Should Practice their Evacuation Plan by proceeding to the Temporary Evacuation Point Located at The Shipyard #3 Cafeteria/Trail Parking Lot at 1333 Canal Blvd. 

Please avoid using the Dornan Drive Tunnel as it will be used for responding emergency vehicles. The Evacuation Exercise ends when you reach the Evacuation Point at the Shipyard #3 parking lot. Please drive safely and do not exceed posted speed limits on any roadways.

In the event of a large-scale evacuation of the community, this system will be used to issue evacuation orders, provide incident information and evacuation location information. Thank you for your participation.
