YMCA at 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd. is offering use of their showers to anyone impacted by the gas leak (during limited hours)

Before 5:00 am this morning, the City of Sierra Madre dispatch call center received calls of natural gas odor on Lima. The Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) and Sierra Madre Public Works Department were quickly dispatched to assess the problem and determined that a water leak caused a natural gas line to rupture. Approximately 380 meter customers are affected by this leak. Water lines have been repaired and it is estimated that gas lines will take several days to repair.
If you or your family has been impacted by the gas leak, the Pasadena-Sierra Madre YMCA is offering use of their showers during specified times. The YMCA is located at 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.
