The male victims, 67, and 37, confronted the suspect who entered their residence and stole property. The suspect assaulted the victims and vandalized property prior to fleeing. The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. Officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. ARRESTED: Gabriel Gutierrez, 48, for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, and vandalism.

2. Person Shot (0030) 6000 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District

The male victim, 34, was in the listed area when he was shot. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Several nearby businesses were also struck by gunfire. SUSPECTS: No suspect information.

3. Attempted Armed Robbery (0100) 3500 Block of South El Dorado Street, Seaport District

The male victim, 50, was in the area when the suspect, armed with a firearm, demanded his property. The suspect then shot the victim's dog, killing it, and fled the area. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

4. Attempted Robbery (0150) Hazelton Avenue and Stanislaus Street, Park District

The male victim, 38, was walking in the listed area when the suspects approached and demanded property. The suspects chased the victim and assaulted him. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Four Hispanic male adults.
