* At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sayreville, or near Perth Amboy, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Perth Amboy, Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Sayreville, Carteret, Matawan, Brownville, Navesink, Lincroft, Woodbridge, South River, Metuchen, Keyport, Rumson, Madison Park, Iselin, Sewaren, Port Reading and Strathmore. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 11 and 13. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 1. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 114 and 131.
