* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in northeast New Jersey, Bergen and Passaic. In southeast New York, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester.
* WHEN...Until 945 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 636 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to training thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area through 900am. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Paterson, Passaic, Wayne, New City, Paramus, Ossining, Ridgewood, Peekskill, Monsey, Nanuet, Ramsey, Haverstraw, Suffern, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, Nyack, West Point, Tappan, Sloatsburg and Cold Spring. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
