Reminder: Hoboken seniors can apply for farmers' market vouchers; CAPS Forum Tuesday

$50 farmers' market vouchers available for Hoboken seniors

As a reminder, the Hoboken Division of Senior Services announces that qualifying, low-income residents over the age of 60 can apply for $50 farmers' market vouchers on Monday, July 17, at City Hall, 94 Washington St. or Tuesday, July 18, at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Applicants must bring ID, proof of residency, and proof of income. 

IMPORTANT: Qualifying seniors MUST bring proof of income, which can include a Snap card, an approved Medicaid application and/or a Social Security awards letter showing they have the correct income amount.

REMINDER: CAPS Forum to be held Tuesday, July 18 at 10 a.m.
The Hoboken Public Safety Department invites residents to the next CAPS (Community and Public Safety) forum on Tuesday, July 18 starting at 10 a.m. The event will be at Northern Soul, 700 First St.

Representatives of Hoboken's Police Department, Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, and EMS will be on hand for presentations, conversations and Q&A on safety citywide, focusing on storms and flooding. The City and Public Safety Department host the CAPS Forum every other month in different Hoboken locations as a way for the public to meet and engage with public safety officials and learn more about public safety best practices through a casual setting.

Light refreshments will be served.
