Watch Commander's Night Report - July 15, 2023



TOTAL CAD CALLS: 877

1. Pursuit Arrest (1608) Kate Linde Circle and William Moss Boulevard, Seaport District

Officers attempted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle, the driver failed to yield, leading officers in a pursuit. During the pursuit, the suspects discarded a firearm and ammunition from the vehicle. Officers disabled the vehicle, and the pursuit ended. Officers located the discarded weapon and arrested the suspects without further incident. ARRESTED: Henry Ortega, 24, Cesar Arroyo, 24, and Ray Yin, 32, for evading and weapons charges.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1705) B Street and Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Park District

The male victims, 41, 32, and 35, were driving in the listed area when the suspects yelled racial slurs, brandished a firearm, and fired several rounds toward the victims. The victim’s vehicle was struck by gunfire, and the victims were uninjured. SUSPECTS: Two black male adults.

3. Resisting Arrest (1820) 200 Block of East Church Street, Seaport District

Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a man armed with a firearm. Officers located the suspect, though as he was being detained, he assaulted an officer and resisted arrest. The suspect continued to resist arrest, and a taser was deployed to take the suspect into custody. Officers located a handgun in the suspect’s possession. ARRESTED: Darryl Jackson, 37, for resisting arrest, battery on officers, and weapons charges.

4. Person Stabbed (2320) 1600 Block of South Airport Way, Park District

The female victim, 24, was in the area when she got into a physical altercation with the suspect. The victim was stabbed when several other suspects began assaulting her. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECTS: Four Hispanic male adults.

5. Armed Robbery (0305) 1700 Block of West Fremont Street, Civic District

The male victim, 42, was in the listed area when the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded his property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the area. SUSPECT: Hispanic male, adult.

6. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0539) 3000 Block of North Sutter Street, Civic District

The male victim, 35, followed the suspects who stole his vehicle. The suspects rammed the vehicle the victim was driving and fled the area. No injuries were reported. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults.
