Warning/Bear Sighting (Yosemite/118 FWY) 
On July 16, 2023 at about 8:49 PM, Officers were dispatched to the area the 6000 block of Sunflower Street, reference a bear sighting. The caller stated a bear was in their backyard.
Upon arrival, Officers located the bear walking in the area of Yosemite Ave. and Mt. Sinai Dr. Fish & Wildlife was contacted. Officers are currently trying to keep the bears path away from populated areas.
Please avoid walking in the area and secure small animals. Any pertinent updates will be made.
