Green Bay Police Arrest Suspect in Deadly Shooting on Cass Street
The Green Bay Police Department is continuing to investigate a shooting that killed a 24-year-old Green Bay man on Friday, July 14, 2023, on the City’s east side.
Officers were dispatched to a local hospital for a gunshot wound victim around 7:15 p.m. just as a complaint was made for reckless driving in the 1100 block of Cass Street.
Police arrested the suspected shooter, a 23-year-old Green Bay man, on Saturday, July 15, 2023, after he voluntarily turned himself in at the Green Bay Police Department to discuss the incident.
The suspect and the victim are believed to have known each other.
Police have been told that there was an earlier argument stemming from an ongoing dispute.
There have not been any other reported injuries.
