The Camarillo Police Department is hosting a National Night Out event from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on 8/5/2023 at Constitution Park, located at 601 Carmen Drive. The Camarillo Police Department’s National Night Out event will take place before the city of Camarillo and Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District’s “Summer Concert Series” event, which will be at 7:00 PM.
National Night Out is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships that make our neighborhoods safer. National Night Out enhances the relationship between residents and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
Members of the Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office will be visiting with residents and meeting community members. Come meet deputies and see various vehicles and equipment used by the police department including a police car, police K-9, SWAT armored vehicle, a command post and more. We’ll also have members of the Camarillo Citizen’s Patrol and Disaster Assistance Response Team on hand if you are looking for ways to volunteer in your community.
Ask questions and have fun interacting with all the deputies present. We are better at what we do because of our community partnerships and relationships built at events such as this. We know many families in Camarillo enjoy the Summer Concert Series and we look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, 8/5/2023 at 5:00 PM.
