INCIDENT: Sex Registrant Compliance Sweep
LOCATION: City of Grand Terrace
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, July 12, 2023, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Central Station, conducted a sex registrant compliance sweep in the city of Grand Terrace. The compliance sweep was conducted in conjunction with Operation Online Guardian sponsored by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
The purpose of this compliance sweep was to confirm locations and information for registered sex offenders in the city of Grand Terrace and locate registered sex offenders who were out of compliance with the terms and conditions of their sex registrant status. If violations were located, cases would be filed with the San Bernardino County Office of the District Attorney.
