* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in northeast New Jersey, Bergen. In southeast New York, Rockland.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1216 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Paramus, Tappan, Pearl River, Oradell, Norwood, Orangeburg, Dumont, New Milford, River Edge, Westwood, Hillsdale, River Vale, Washington Township, Park Ridge, Closter, Emerson, Old Tappan, Woodcliff Lake, Blauvelt and Harrington Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
