INCIDENT: PC 422 Criminal Threats
LOCATION: 2000 Block of Luna Vista, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Male Juvenile, 15-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at approximately 7:42 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service regarding a 15-year-old juvenile threatening family members with a large knife. When deputies arrived on scene, they located the juvenile in the front yard holding an approximate 12-inch knife.
After several minutes of negotiating with the juvenile, deputies were able to get him to surrender the knife without further incident.The male juvenile was taken into custody and transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
