Free pizza offered at Movies Under the Stars
Colavita will partner with the City of Hoboken for the second consecutive year to provide Movie Under the Stars attendees with free pizza. Colavita's wood fired pizza truck will be popping up at Pier A Park at 6 p.m. on July 19, July 26, and Aug. 2 to offer a complimentary slice of hand tossed Neapolitan-style pizza to Movie Under the Stars attendees. There will be a limited number of slices available, so come early and enjoy!
Movies include: Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The Movies Under the Stars Program is sponsored in part by Colavita.

916 Garden St. Garage survey closes July 21
The City of Hoboken's survey on the 916 Garden Street Automated Parking Garage will close Friday, July 21, at 12 p.m. The survey responses will be used to inform the City's decision-making process regarding the future of the 916 Garden Street Automated Garage, which has reached the end of its useful life due in part to aging technology and internal mechanical infrastructure that is largely obsolete.
The garage, which initially opened in 2002 as a prototype to store over 300 vehicles, would require a significant retrofit to continue operating as an automated parking garage as it currently only serves 99 vehicles due in part to limitations with the system’s antiquated mechanical equipment.
The City has hired an expert consultant to develop a feasibility study to evaluate alternatives for the site. Alternatives could include retrofitting the software that operates the facility and all mechanical equipment in the garage, selling the property, a change in use of the property to something other than parking, or some combination of these options.
