POLICE: Homicide Investigation, Riverbed behind Grant Rea Park 
Homicide Investigation
Yesterday, (July 18, 2023), at approximately 5:17 p.m., Montebello Police Officers responded to a shots-fired call for service in the riverbed behind Grant Rea Park.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered a male adult suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
