INCIDENT: Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Altering a Firearm’s Identification Mark, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Large Capacity Magazine, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited From Owning Ammunition
LOCATION: Mesa Linda Road and La Mesa Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Christian Reyes, 19-Year-Old Male, Resident of Victorville
Cedvell Walker, 20-Year-Old Male, Resident of Fontana
Eli Welton, 22-Year-Old Male, Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): 19-Year-Old Male, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, July 17, 2023, at approximately 6:47 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station were dispatched to a robbery that just occurred on Mesa Linda Road an La Mesa Road. The victim was picked-up from the location by a friend in a white sedan with two other people inside. Once the victim was in the vehicle, the suspects pointed firearms at him and took cash from his wallet. The victim exited the vehicle, and the suspects drove away.
Deputies located the suspects at a residence on Vista Del Sol Court. Deputies served a search warrant which resulted in locating two handguns, large-capacity magazines, ammunition, and cash.
Deputies arrested and booked Christian Reyes, Cedvell Walker, and Eli Welton into custody at High Desert Detention Center. All three suspects were charged with felony: conspiracy to commit a crime, robbery, altering a firearm’s identification mark, carrying a loaded firearm-not the owner, and large capacity magazine. Welton was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm and prohibited from possessing ammunition.
