Two Men Shot with a Pellet Gun; Investigation to Identify Suspect Continues

INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon: Not a Firearm
LOCATION: 14000 Block of La Paz Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unidentified
VICTIM(S): 36-Year-Old Male Resident of Adelanto, and 41-Year-Old Male Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 14, 2023, at approximately 8:13 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to a report of a man shot in the torso, near the 14000 block of La Paz Drive. The victim was transported to a local trauma center and is in stable condition. It was determined the wound was from a pellet gun. While on scene, a second victim was located who refused medical treatment.
Currently, deputies have not determined a connection between the two shootings. This is an ongoing investigation.
