The Borough, in consultation with Middlesex County parks officials, has postponed tonight's (Thurs. 7/20) opening concert of Parkstock, featuring Hair Magic and Cold Weather Company, due to soggy conditions in Donaldson Park.
As the photos illustrate, the park grounds around the gazebo where the Parkstock concerts are held is still very wet - the results of a few days of heavy rain, including yesterday's massive noon-time downpour. Access to pathways, sitting areas and restrooms is difficult and muddy.
The rain date for the performance is Thursday, August 31st, which is also our recently announced kick-off to Labor Day weekend event, complete with fireworks and now live music. We hope to see you there and at the remaining Parkstock events (please see the updated schedule below).
