Young Black Bear Sighting - Yakutania Point Trails (July 20th)

Report received of a young black bear sighting on the Yakutania Point trail system. The bear was alone and no mother bear was spotted nearby. Please exercise caution in that area and remain bear aware throughout all areas of Skagway+Dyea. 

Instructions:

Stay bear aware while hiking. Try to travel in a group and make plenty of noise.
