On Saturday, December 9, beginning at 7:00 p.m., the Holly Jolly Jekyll Light Parade, presented by the Beach Village Merchants, will take place on Jekyll Island. You may experience minor, rolling traffic delays around the island during this time.
The parade will not close any roads, but there will be temporary stops as the parade moves along its route, beginning at Corsair Beach Park and ending at Jekyll Island Golf Club.
Parade Route
The parade will begin at Corsair Beach Park, going north on Beachview Drive. The parade will move through Beach Village down Ocean Way, the Convention Center parking lot, and Great Dunes Beach Park. Continuing on North Beachview Drive to King Ave., Lanier Ave. then complete its route on Captain Wylly at the Jekyll Island Golf Club.
Pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution when crossing roads with vehicular traffic.
