Watch Commander’s Day Report - July 21, 2023 
1. Robbery (0520) 2400 Block of East Fremont Street, Park District
The male victim, 45, was working in an area business when Suspect #1 entered, pointed a gun at the victim, and demanded property and merchandise. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in a vehicle driven by Suspect #2. SUSPECT VEHICLE: Black sedan.
SUSPECTS: Suspect #1-Black male. Suspect #2-Black or Hispanic male.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1102) Hammer Lane and Holman Road, Valley Oak District
Officers initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area. The suspect vehicle failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The suspect drove over the center median and collided with a streetlight. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to an area hospital for treatment. ARRESTED: Ian Cossete, 26, for evading and reckless driving.
3. Robbery (1145) 6700 Block of Kermit Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 60, was in the area when the suspect stole property from her person. The suspect fled in a white sedan. SUSPECT: Black male in his thirties, wearing dark-clothing.
