* At 531 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lebleu Settlement to Mermentau, moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Lake Charles, Jennings, Welsh, Iowa, Lake Arthur, Mermentau, Hayes, Moss Bluff, Evangeline, Buller, Lebleu Settlement, Thornwell, Roanoke, Lacassine and Bell City. This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 29 and 70. Interstate 210 between mile markers 3 and 12.
