Flood Advisory until 09:45AM 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Edgecombe and Halifax.
* WHEN...Until 945 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 639 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hobgood, Speed and Leggett. - This includes the following flood prone locations... Bethlehem Church Rd at Maple Swamp, Batts Chapel Rd & US Hwy 258, Cutchin Farm Rd near Deep Creek and Low lying areas on Dickens Rd.
* AFFECTED AREAS: EDGECOMBE, NC ... HALIFAX, NC
