July 21, 2023:

• Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West Ganson Street for a domestic dispute. A 38-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, and resisting and obstructing.
• Officers responded to the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for indecent exposure. An 86-year-old male was trespassed from the property.
• Officer Goings was dispatched to the 400 block of East Prospect Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officer Bean and Officer Kuhn conducted foot patrol at the Jackson Crossing Mall.
• Officers responded to the 1200 block of East Michigan Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 40-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• While in the 1900 block of Deyo Street, Officer Justice heard several shots fired south of his location. Spent casings were located near South Gorham Street and Deyo Street.
• Officers conducted liquor inspections downtown.
• Officers attended the Hot Air Jubilee.

• Officer Baker responded to the 400 block of West High Street for a found firearm.
• Officers were dispatched to a domestic situation in the 1300 block of South Milwaukee Street. The suspect was located driving near East High Street and South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and continued to flee from officers. The 21-year-old female was arrested for fleeing and eluding; driving while intoxicated; and domestic assault.
• Officer Justice conducted a traffic stop at West Washington Avenue and Second Street. The 38-year-old male driver was arrested for possession of open intoxicants; driving while intoxicated; and multiple outstanding warrants.
• Officer Brooks responded to Clear Lake for a warrant pick-up. A 38-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers were dispatched for a personal welfare check near West Michigan Avenue and Wildwood Avenue. A 63-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
• Officers attended the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament.

• Officer Baker responded to the 300 block of East Robinson Street for found casings.
• Officers were dispatched for a breaking and entering in the 200 block of West Wilkins Street. Charges will be sought on a 45-year-old male for breaking and entering.
• Officers responded to the 500 block of West Franklin Street for a disorderly subject. A 24-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
